In a state where ease of access to the polls is the norm, Clark County has made it even easier for voters. Home to Las Vegas and more than 75 percent of the state’s population, the county has taken the unique step during early voting to bring the polls to the people.
Through the use of mobile voting trailers, which rove about the county during the two-week early voting period prior to primary and general elections, the county serves communities far from more permanent polling locations.
Clark County Registrar of Voters Joseph Gloria takes News21 on a tour of these trailers, explains their genesis and discusses the methodology behind their deployment.
